Business Innovation Stream
Business Innovation stream is for applicants with business skills who want to establish, develop and manage a new or existing business in Australia.
Investor Stream
Investor stream is for applicants who want to make an investment of at least AUD 1.5 million in Australia and maintain business &investment activity.
Significant Investor (SIV) Stream
Significant Investor (SIV) stream is for applicants who are willing to invest at least AUD 5 million in Australia and maintain business & investment activity.
Premium Investor (PIV) Stream
Premium Investor (PIV) stream is for applicants who are willing to invest at least AUD 15 million in Australia and maintain business & investment activity.
General Eligibility Requirements
- Ownership of a business with turnover of at least AUD 500,000 for at least 2 of the last 4 fiscal years.
- Net personal and business assets of at least AUD 800,000.
- The two streams, Business Innovation stream and the Investor stream is based on a points-test system, therefore you must score at least 65 points for these streams.
- Under 55 years of age, unless the nominating state or territory certifies that the applicant will make an exceptional economic benefit.
- Have an overall successful career in business.
- Meet certain health and character requirements.
English requirement does not apply to Subclass 188 visa. Further, upon fulfilling conditions for this visa, applicant is eligible to apply for a permanent business skills visa (Subclass 888).
