Recently, Immigration SA issued the following notice:
New state government occupation list:
- Immigration South Australia will publish a revised State Occupation List on 1 July 2015 .
- Occupations not mentioned in the State Occupation List will be listed on the Supplementary Skilled Occupation List and will be available to applicants who meet the additional requirements.
- The Supplementary Skilled Occupation List includes all occupations listed on the Commonwealth Consolidated Occupation List (CSOL) but not on the South Australian Government Occupation List.
- The 190/489 visa application system is temporarily closed.
- The application system will be temporarily closed at 1 pm on 30 June 2015 , and will reopen at 12 pm on 1 July 2015 .
- About saved applications and applications that have been submitted but not paid
- If you have saved the 190/489 state government nomination application, or have submitted the application but have not paid, you need to submit or complete the payment before 1 pm South Australian time on 30 June, otherwise please submit after 12 pm on July 1 A new and complete application.
- All applications saved but not submitted or submitted without payment will be deleted at 1 pm on 1 July 2015 .
English Requirement:
Changes will be made to the English language requirements for the following occupations:
- ICT occupations require 4 7 points in IELTS , or a total score of 7.5 ;
- Engineering occupations require a total score of 7 in IELTS ;
- The English requirements for other occupations may also be changed. Please check the official website of the South Australian Immigration Bureau on 1 July 2015.
- State nomination requirements.
- All applications will meet the new requirements starting 1 July 2015.
